Go to the Voices tab and tap "Add a Magic Voice!". Pick a language, read the short sample passage aloud, then confirm to save it.
Only voices you have permission to use — typically your own, or a family member's with their clear consent (a parent or guardian consents on behalf of a child). Never clone someone's voice without their knowledge.
Yes. Open the Voices tab, select the voice, and delete it — this permanently removes the voice model and its recordings from our systems. Stories already narrated with it stay in your library unless you delete them too.
No. We never sell, rent, or license your voice recordings, voice clones, or personal information to anyone, and we don't use your voice to train models for other users.
No — KathaVani subscriptions do not auto-renew. Each purchase covers one month. Your plan stays active until that period ends, and your account then moves to Free unless you manually renew from Subscription Plan in Settings.
Open Profile → Subscription Plan and tap "Choose" on any plan. Switching plans starts a new billing period at that plan's price right away.
Payments for a billing period are generally non-refundable once it has started, except where required by law or the policy of the app store you purchased through. Contact us at support@cortexatech.in if you were charged incorrectly.
The Family plan lets you add up to 4 family members who share a pool of voice clones and monthly stories. Manage it from Profile → Family, where you can add a member and assign them a voice.
Yes — Premium supports 2 members (great for a couple) sharing 3 voice clones and 30 stories a month. Add the second member from Profile → Family, the same place the Family plan manages its members.
Yes! You can create stories and voices in Telugu, English, Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada, all from the same account.
Choose from categories like Grandma's Tales, Grandpa's Stories, Panchatantra, Indian Folk Tales, Village Stories, and more — with moods from calming Bedtime to Adventure, Magical, Spooky, and Educational.
Open Profile from Settings and tap "Change PIN" to set a new 6-digit PIN.
Downloaded narrations are saved on your device and available offline from the Stories tab, even without internet.
No. KathaVani never requests your location or phone contacts — the app has no permission to access either.
